OUR STATEMENT OF
FAITH
The Full Story
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible, as originally given, to be without error, the fully inspired and infallible Word of God and the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12)

THE SAVIOUR
We believe that the Godhead exists co-equally and co-eternally in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and that these three are one God, sovereign in creation, providence and redemption. (Matthew 28:18-20)
MANKIND, HIS FALL, & REDEMPTION
We believe that man was created good and upright, for God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness." But, man, by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God. (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)
EVIDENCE OF SALVATION
We believe that we are saved by grace through faith and that if anyone confesses Jesus as Lord, they will be saved. We believe in the inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit, and the outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness. (Romans 8:16; 1 John 3:18-19, 24)

THE LORDS SUPPER
“And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, ‘This is my body which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’ Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.” (I Corinthians 11:24-25, 28)

THE EVIDENCE OF BAPRISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
The full consummation of the Baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service. (Acts 1:8, 2:4, 10:44-46, 19:2, 6; Galatians 5:16-26)
THE MINISTRY
We believe in the ministries that Christ has set in His Church, namely, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers and in the present operation of the manifold Gifts of the Holy Spirit according to the New Testament. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
THE BLESSED HOPE
We believe in the visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ, to gather all His Saints to be ever with Him, and to reign in power and glory. (1 Corinthians 15:57-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
THE TRINITY
We believe that the Godhead exists co-equally and co-eternally in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and that these three are one God, sovereign in creation, providence and redemption. (Matthew 28:18-20)
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son and the necessity of His work in conviction of sin, repentance, regeneration and sanctification, and that the believer is also promised an enduement of power as the gift of Christ through the baptism in the Holy Spirit with signs following. Through this enduement the believer is empowered for fuller participation in the ministry of the Church, its worship, evangelism and service. (John 14:16)

THE SALVATION OF MAN
We believe in the necessity for salvation of repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by which the sinner is pardoned and accepted as righteous in God’s sight. This justification is imputed by the grace of God because of the atoning work of Christ, is received by faith alone, and not by works. (Roman 8:16; 1 John 3:18-19, 24; Ephesians 2:8-10)
BAPTISM OF WATER
We believe that the ordinance of baptism by a burial with Christ should be observed as commanded in the Scriptures by all who have truly repented and in their hearts have truly believed on Christ as Saviour and Lord. In so doing, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Acts 10:47-48)
THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER
All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-5, 2:38) With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. (Acts 1:8; I Corinthians 12:1-31) This wonderful experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. (Acts 2:38, 10:44-46, 11:14-16)
THE CHURCH
We believe in the spiritual unity and the priesthood of all believers in Christ and that these comprise the universal Church, the Body of Christ. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23)

THE COMMISION
We believe that the Gospel embraces the needs of the whole man and that the Church is therefore commissioned to preach the Gospel to the world and to fulfill a ministry of healing and deliverance to the spiritual and physical needs of mankind. (Mark 16:15-18)
THE MILLENNIAL REIGN OF JESUS
The Scriptures promise the return of our Lord Jesus Christ with His saints from Heaven to rule and reign for one thousand years on earth. (II Thessalonians 1:7; Revelation 19:11-16, 20:1-6) After this, there shall be a new heaven and a new earth. (Revelation 21)
